Visual Storytelling Through Abstract Art
My practice in abstract art is rooted in the pursuit of intuitive visual storytelling. I start a new painting without a predetermined narrative, instead being inspired by emotion, instinct, and an innate desire to express what is felt rather than what is visually apparent.
This approach fosters an open-ended dialogue between the artwork and the viewer, inviting them into a shared space of discovery. The intention is to evoke a moment of reflection—a pause—where personal interpretation transforms the piece into an active conversation. In this exchange, the viewer becomes an integral part of the ongoing story, allowing meaning to unfold organically through individual perception.
"I'm driven by the pure joy of being creative.”
“I have never expected anything from my work but the satisfaction I could get from it by the very fact of painting and saying what I couldn’t say otherwise.”
— Frida Kahlo
